Overview

• Colour, Elements and Principles of Design by using and practicing basic knowledge will go to serious design construction eg. Elements and principles of design. Theory of colour and its application and Technical use in different reproduction process.
• Drawing and Illustration from Nature and living environment in indoor and outdoor in half tone, monochrome, Multicolour and in line Drawing or technical Drawings for reproduction purpose.
• Lettering and Typography: History and evolution of Typography sign and symbol, Fonts, size, visual effects, spacing body Text, Effective use of Typography as design and form.
• Corporate identities: Logo, Logotype, symbol, monogram, seals, sign.
• Layout to finished Art work: Thumb nails, rough and Proof and comprehensive layout.
• Technical Design for the different types of reproduction process and printing.
• Photog r aphy : Adv anc e application and practice of photography which is the most widely used medium of visual communication.
• Computer Graphics: Introduction and practice of basic visual software's used in contemporary industries. egg. Quark expresses, Coral Draw, Photoshop, etc. At the end of the course students have to submit a business promotional or social campaign on an approved subject incorporating all the above media Technique practices and information based research comprising Stationary design, press and magazine ads, posters and other publicity material related to campaign.
  
  Theory: Students have to submit Theory assignments at various levels related to the practical Assignments: Theory of Advertising practices, aims, objectives, its role, to create awareness, educate, to make an opinion, Business Promotion and publicity.
