The Foundation Programme in Visual Arts will introduce you to create Practice and Critical Thinking . The aim of this programme is to encourage students to develop Confidence, Initiative, Drawing, Research & Study skills and also learn how to experiment, to question & to develop your potential for self directed study. During this one year the student will develop his core Practical & Critical skills required for advance study level in Design, Fine Arts & Multimedia Arts.
After successful completion of one year Foundation programme you will be confirmed in 2nd year Specialist programme in one of the following areas.

  • Graphic Design.
  • Painting.
  • Fashion Design,
  • Photography.

Aims & Objectives

Graphic Design, Photography, Painting and Fashion Design all are basically a subject of communication which assumes various forms and media and subject to technical economic and social controls. As a designer therefore has to develop a temperament which would enable oneself to subordinate self individuality to a collective effort. The new technologies have opened up endless avenues for the up- coming designers and Art Practitioner. After successful completion of the design course you can join industry as per your choice and capacity at different level in the contemporary Art/ Design/ Visual merchandising industries.
